The Department of Anthropology and the Pembroke Center for Teaching and Research on Women invite applications for the Louise Lamphere Visiting Assistant Professorship in Anthropology, Gender, and Sexualities Studies, appointment to be effective July 1, 2024. Candidates should have a scholarly focus on and expertise in gender studies and a Ph.D. in Anthropology or a related discipline by the time of appointment. The teaching load of this appointment is three courses per academic year. This two-year Visiting Professorship is not renewable. Initial application materials should include a letter of application, names of three references, and curriculum vitae. Finalists will be asked to submit sample syllabi, writing samples, and letters of recommendation. Review of applications will begin January 26th.
