Visiting Assistant Professor

 

 

The Department of Anthropology at Bryn Mawr College invites applications for a benefits-eligible one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position to begin August 1, 2023. We seek a sociocultural anthropologist who will add to and complement the existing curriculum. Geographical focus is open. The teaching load is 3/2. The successful candidate will teach Introduction to Sociocultural Anthropology and four courses that focus on the candidate’s geographical and topical interests, possibly including a college seminar for first-year students. A Ph.D. in hand by the start of the position is required and previous teaching experience is preferred.
