We're looking for a Senior Market Researcher to work on Healthcare Projects.

Client Work (90% of the time)

Plan Research
  • Define research objectives with the client
  • Contribute to the selection of appropriate research approaches and methodologies
  • Write clear discussion guides and generate assets needed for research

Conduct Research
  • Perform secondary research to understand the landscape and competitors
  • Identify users' pain points and challenges through research methods:
  • Moderate in-depth interviews
  • Observe stakeholders onsite in clinical environments

Synthesize Research
  • Create insights which define unmet need and pain points
  • Organize insights into themes
  • Structure information into cohesive and organized findings
  • Create visualizations of complex information to communicate findings simply

Present Findings
  • Communicate research findings into stories that are easy to understand
  • Build presentations that clearly articulate the comprehensive research findings
  • Deliver findings to the core client team and their executive leaders


General (10% of the time)
  • Contribute to the improvement of Start Something Bold's solutions and operations.


Key Background Requirements

Experience

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working in a researcher or strategist role. This person must have experience:
  • Moderating qualitative in-depth interviews with healthcare professionals
  • Conducting observational research in healthcare environments
  • Identifying unmet needs and defining desired outcome statements from research
  • Using Stanford's Biodesign, Jobs-To-Be-Done or design thinking methodologies
  • Presenting research findings to all levels of the organization, including CEO's, Presidents, and C-suite executives.

Travel

Travel may be required domestically and internationally to support projects post COVID. The frequency and duration will vary based on the project schedule. The candidate must have a passport, driver's license, and be efficient at working in airport lounges.
