Interested in working for the Department of Veterans Affairs?

Megan McCullough, Ph.D., Research Health Scientist and Investigator at Center for Healthcare Organization, looks at the different positions in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs that anthropologists work in, how they are funded, and then next steps for those interested in working in the VA.  One correction is that Dr. McCullough mentions a Boston hospital as having implementation scientists, but she had the hospital name incorrect. It is Mass General Hospital and other hospital, and healthcare systems also research themselves as well. Dr. McCullough's talk was organized and sponsored by the Research on U.S. Healthcare Special Interest Group of the Society for Medical Anthropology.
